Here's our sweet Livie with a speck of Sweet Martha's cookie on her cheek. None actually went in her mouth, but Xilon held one up to her nose so she could sniff it. Look closely and you will see one of her two sparkling new front teeth!
It was still a bit chilly when we arrived at the fair, so the babes were bundled up. Here's Dad with his girl.
And Mom with her little cub. We were taking a break from the sun in a shady spot behind the DNR building. Grown ups can go-go-go at the fair, but it's a different pace with babies. As Xilon said, it's neat to see the fair through a child's eyes. It must seem like such a loud, smelly, odd, interesting place to them!
In the last photo, Xilon was about to try the new food on a stick for 2009, a Fry Dog (hot dog covered with french fries). He chose the chili cheese dipping sauce and said it was a tasty treat.
