The babes are teething ... drooling, gnawing on their fists, and crying one minute, then happy as clams the next. Last night one of them (I forget who) woke at 2am. When that babe finally went to sleep at 4, the other woke up. And on it went, until 7am, when I called my parents for mercy! Xilon left early for work, so fortunately Mom and Dad could watch the babes while I slept. And slept! Nothing is as sweet as a nap when you need one.
Speaking of which, I am off to bed now. Wish me luck for a better night than last night!
Oh, just one other thing: Will said, "Mama" clear as a bell this week. He's been saying mamamama, but this time was a very clear Mama. Now, granted, Xilon was changing his diaper at the time, so it's not like he knows yet WHO Mama is, but it was cool for both of us to hear. I love my children, my husband, my family, so much!
If Will is talking at 7 months, how long until he starts reading and writing? I'm betting that could start at 14 months! --Joanne
