It's Father's Day every day

Xilon is such a good dad. The babes are lucky, and so am I. He loves playing with them.

As a surprise for Father's Day, I am creating a photo book for him on Shutterfly. It will be hard cover and look just like a book. I am going to fill it with photos of him and the babes (well, and some of me!) from the babies' first 16 months of life. It's been so easy to find nice photos of him with them.

The first couple of photos here are from this morning. Xilon is wearing a soft Easter basket as a hat, at Will's request, while they read a book. I love how the kids bring us books to read them.

Yesterday afternoon, it was so hot outside, we decided to play inside after we ran an errand with the kids. Xilon danced with them to honky tonk country music while I made dinner. They loved it! They are learning that their dad has the soul of a cowboy.

In the last photo, you get to see the gigantic, scary weed that Xilon yanked from the rock bed on the side of our house! We did some yard work while the babes napped yesterday. The weed made me think of that plant in the Little Shop of Horrors.

Well, on with our new day!

P.S. Ah rats! Forgot to rotate the darned photos again, so the last two are horizontal instead of vertical. The blog won't let me do it after the fact, so you'll have to turn your head sideways.
