Naked as jaybirds

I came home from my hair appointment today and found my mom and the babes in the backyard. All three were laughing wildly and playing; two of the three of them were naked and covered with sunscreen. (If you know my mom, you know she could have been one of the two nudies.) And what a gorgeous day to be naked it was!

Liv and Will love to scamper in the yard, inspect leaves, pick up rocks and twigs (Will even laid flat on the deck at one point today and picked up a twig with his teeth!), swing, and play at the sand and water table. Little by little, the sand is migrating into the house, I've noticed. Ah well. I just sweep it up and remind myself that we are going to redo the kitchen in a few years when the kids are in a less messy stage of life.

Thursday is our last multiples class until fall. We'll miss it! We are going to plan some play dates with our classmates over the summer, which will be fun.

In other news, I am pulling my hair out over the photo book I am creating for Xilon. I just discovered that a whole group of professionally shot photos (taken when the babes were 10 days old) are low resolution, which is no good for a printed book. So I have to get the photographer to send me high-res. And Shutterfly's photo uploading process is ridiculously cumbersome. If I were Bewitched, I'd wiggle my nose and be done with this project, but I know Xilon will love the book when he sees it.
