If Gabby and Lucy could talk, they would say, "This baby business is absolutely exhausting!"
Truly, they haven't had a proper night's sleep since those crazy kids came home from the hospital.
The cats are getting used to their little brother and sister, though. Initially they were scared by these short, screaming "visitors" who peed and threw up on mom and dad. Then they were curious, sniffing the babies' heads when they felt brave enough. Now they are getting protective -- they will run to us when Will and Livie cry.
It may make you roll your eyes to hear me say it, but Xilon and I feel like parents of four now, not two. We love all our little babies.
